This blended whisky that was named after the Gordon Highlanders regiment of the British Army, which Glenfiddich Distillery founder William Grant was made a Major in the volunteer battalion in 1897, which existed from 1881 to 1994.

Ardmore Traditional Cask
Built to provide whisky for the Teacher's blend in 1898, this Highlander's main production is a peated whisky, but there is also a non-peated version called Ardlair (Ardless is its nickname) which accounts for around 40% of its output.
A young peated whisky from the excellent Ardmore distillery, Ardmore traditional Cask has been finished in quarter casks to speed up maturation.
Gold Medal in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.
