Mannochmore 1977 22 Year Old First Cask - Bottle Number 1

Built during the post-WWII boom in international whisky trade and at almost 100 years younger than its sister distillery Glenlossie, Mannochmore's fame or infamy is most associated with Loch Dhu. The Black Whisky aside, Mannochmore is highly thought of by blenders and it is an integral part of the Haig's blend. The distillery site, just south of Elgin, is an extensive thriving complex with fourteen warehouses and a self-sustaining biomass burner as well as its own cattle feed production system!

This Mannochmore has been bottled by Direct Wines Limited for their First Cask series. This range was available to exclusively to First Cask Circle Members and bottled un-chill filtered.
