The Transcontinental Rum Line is a series from La Maison Du Whisky. Comprised of rums from different distilleries, that have been partially matured in their tropical homes before being shipped across the Atlantic Ocean for further maturation in Europe. While this may sound convoluted, it's actually very cost effective as it prevents the greedy tropical angels from getting quite such a monstrous share of the precious spirit.
Rum Line #19
This unique cask only spent a few days in Guyana before crossing the Atlantic Ocean to age close to 14 years in Europe. Barrel #71 was selected and bottled exclusively for Germany.
