Edinburgh Whisky Ltd is a privately-owned company based in the capital and continuing the tradition of Edinburgh merchants who sourced, blended and independently bottled fine whiskies. They split their releases into the Library Collection, New Town Blends, and Old Town Blends.
The New Town Blends are supposed to reflect the quality expected by the gentlemen who might be attracted by Edinburgh's New Town. This is the peated Surgeons Ball blend.
