That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles Scotch single malt and grain whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with humorous puns presented in cultish comic-book style labels: the purpose is to tell the histories and stories of distilleries or prominent figures in the industry but in a new exciting way. It's not all fun and games though, as they were awarded World's Best Blended Whisky at the 2015 World Whisky Awards.
From TBWC website: The "whole crew" in this case being the Whisky Squad, who back in April 2013 travelled to Tunbridge Wells to make gin, enjoy some cocktails, select a cask and design a belter of a label!
The result?: Allt-á-Bhainne - Batch 1 from That Boutique-y Whisky Company! Obviously, 'Allt-á-Bhainne' sounds a bit like 'House of Pain'. That's obvious. What it literally means, however, is 'River of Milk', so various Whisky Squaders are represented here as cows. Who are listening to House of Pain. Oh, and there's a monkey too...
