Founded in 2005, Kozuba & Sons was Poland's first whisky distillery and is now based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Already winners of a handful of awards, the distillery also produce vodkas. Prologue is their first malt and has been aged in fresh American oak casks. The label is fantastically detailed; specifying the mash bill, fermentation times, distillation run strengths and the strength of the spirit as it was casked.
Prologue has been aged in the casks for 3 years prior to bottling. As far as we know, there are no other whiskies produced using "birch smoked malt" in their mash bills. (Answers on a postcard if you know better!)
