The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid, a barley farmer and school teacher. Now owned by the Edrington Group, The Macallan prides itself on its Six Pillars, which include its curiously small stills, very narrow 'cut' of new make spirit and exceptional cask management. It is the most sought after whisky for collectors, regularly setting records at auctions all round the world.

Available only from the distillery, with no more than 2,000 bottles made available.

Comes with a beautifully illustrated hardback book which revisits The Macallan's original print, press & film advertising campaign 1980-1994.

The book contains a USB stick continuing the advertising archive.

43% ABV / 70cl

Due to the joints being loose the door of the box can come completely off when being opened. There is some slight damage to the interior where the bottle sits and two of the clasps holding the book in place are slightly bent.

Please examine the images of the bottle, packaging and labels carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid.
