Malts of Scotland - based in Paderborn, Germany - won the prestigious Whisky Magazine's Icons of Whisky Independent Bottler of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. Founder Thomas Ewers personally selects each cask, which is bottled at cask strength, non-chillfiltered and without colour, to offer Scotland's greatest treasures.

There have been rumours that this is the first bottling of Ailsa Bay. Indeed WhiskyFun's Serge Valentin has left his tasting notes and speculated on whether or not it is an Ailsa Bay whisky. All the hints are there: Dalrymple is the trading name of teaspooned Ailsa Bay, which also happens to be in Ayrshire.
