Based in the ex-Portuguese colony of Goa, India, Paul John whiskies are produced under the watchful eye of their namesake and founder Paul P John. As is the case in other tropical distilleries, their whisky (which is aged almost exclusively in American oak barrels) matures at a comparably rapid rate, and the distillery continues to grow in esteem and popularity.
This limited edition release was bottled to celebrate the launch of the Mars Orbiter - India's first interplanetary mission - on 5 November 2013.
