Situated within the Dumbarton grain complex on the banks of the Clyde, the Inverleven distillery was mainly used for blending and specifically in Ballantine's for Hiram Walker. However, single malts under the Inverleven name are sometimes - though very seldom - seen, often as independent bottlings. More recently the Lowland malt has been bottled by Chivas Brothers as part of the Deoch an Doras series in 2011.
From Chivas Brothers' Deoch An Doras range, a 37 year old Inverleven distilled in the early 1970's. The distillery has been mothballed since 1991.
