High West started in 2004 and this blend of rye and bourbon is a result of the distillers having the inspiration to combine the bourbon (mashbill - 75% corn, 20% rye, 5% barley malt) with the rye (mashbill - 95% rye, 5% barley malt) for a minimum of 5 years each.
