El Dorado is the multi award winning Caribbean rum. Using rum from the Enmore, Diamond, Port Mourant and Versaillies distilleries.
Versailles is often seen as a component in blended rums with the spirit being produced in the Versailles (VSG) still by Demerara Distillers Limited in Guyana. As a single wooden port still, the VSG spirit is unfortunately often seen as of a lower quality than the rum that flows through some of the other historical stills at the same distillery; however, this has not deterred independent bottlings by Samaroli and exclusives for the Milano Whisky Festival. It is perhaps best known for being used as a base for El Dorado.
