A very warm welcome to our November auction in what is shaping up to be a rather chilly winter here in Glasgow. Frost and darkness aside a veritable treasure store lies within so stay tuned.
This month we’d love to bring to your attention the launch of SWA’s exclusive WhiskyFM radio channel! The 24/7 channel has been designed for the whisky & music lover offering the hottest whisky exclusives. To launch the channel, we are delighted to reveal that during this auction the WhiskyFM Inaugural Bottle will be on sale. These limited bottles have been created in partnership with Glenfarclas to commemorate the launch of WhiskyFM. There’s more... each bottle comes with a signed copy of Ralfy’s new book!
Rolling out first into the spotlight are 6 little Springbanks. This Millennium Collection may be small in size however they’re highly collectible and extremely rare! Only 50 of these sets were issued to collectors worldwide once they had collected all 25 to 50 Year Old bottlings. Not only that but they had to send proof to the distillery! The miniatures come in a beautiful brass-bound, velvet-lined wooden case complete with a certificate of authenticity signed by Mr Headley G. Wright himself!
Next we head up to Elgin where the fabled cask curators Gordon & MacPhail were quietly storing what was one of the oldest single malts ever bottled! Yes it’s The Macallan 1938 65 Year Old! As per, it comes in an incredibly modest wooden box (wouldn't want to boast!) and is filled at cask strength: as if there was any other way.
A regular to us yet a real heavy weight is the Bowmore 1973 43 Year Old. Rated extremely well online, this is the last 6 remaining 1973 vintage exceptional Bourbon Hogsheads from Bowmore’s Number 1 Vaults. Go on, treat yourself, its nearly Christmas..
Okay enough, enough! We’ll stop blathering on. Get clicking, scrolling and bidding.
Remember...Don’t lose your bottle!
