Old Forester 75th Anniversary Of The Repeal Of Prohibition 37.5cl

In Louisville, Kentucky in 1870, George Garvin Brown filled and sealed a glass bottle of bourbon for the first time striving for consistency and quality in all future bottlings. He named that spirit Old Forester after Dr. William Forrester who worked as a pharmaceutical salesman: the second 'r' was dropped from the surname when he retired. During Prohibition, the company now known as Brown-Forman were able to legally produce alcohol for medicinal purposes. This allowed sales to stay steady during this period and helped the huge popularity boost after the act was repealed.

This bottle of Old Forester commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition and comes with a branded glass and a scroll.
