The 2015 release of the Parker's Heritage, in which special bottlings are released in honour of the forrmer Master Distiller, Parker Beam. A portion of their sales go toward funding research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a degenerative disease which Parker suffers from.
This 8 year old is non chill filtered and bottled at a healthy 52.5% ABV. The barrels have been charred for one minute and 30 seconds, 50 seconds longer than tradition, allowing the liquid to penetrate deeper into the oak.
