Lot number: 110-00444

Winning bid: £25

Launched by William Grant - founder of the Glenfiddich distillery - in 1898, Grant's is Scotland's oldest continuously family-run, blended whisky maker. William's rise from cattle herder to whisky baron is one of the great tales in Scotch. In 1903, William employed his son-in-law Charles Gordon and six years later he embarked on a world tour spreading the word about Grant's (or, as it was then called, Grant's Standfast after the clan motto: 'Standfast Craigellachie') and making the brand into the worldwide success it is today.

This triple distilled single grain whisky has been aged in torched casks which are used only once for this Single Grain Whisky.

40% ABV / 70cl
