The Transcontinental Rum Line is a series from La Maison Du Whisky. Comprised of rums from different distilleries, that have been partially matured in their tropical homes before being shipped across the Atlantic Ocean for further maturation in Europe. While this may sound convoluted, it's actually very cost effective as it prevents the greedy tropical angels from getting quite such a monstrous share of the precious spirit.

Distilled in column stills from fermented molasses, this Panamean rum is a classic in the TCRL line. It has matured close to the Panama Canal in Bourbon barrels during 5 years in tropical and then 1 year in Europe.
