Johnnie Walker created John Walker & Sons signature blend Vodafone McLaren Mercedes edition.
It was first available exclusively at Shanghai’s Johnnie Walker House, which is the first whisky embassy and Johnnie Walker boutique outside of Scotland.
Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button visited Shanghai to begin the process of making the blend.
Nick Morgan, Diageo’s head of Whisky Outreach and blending expert, was onsite to guide Button through the process.
The whiskies selected by Button now serve as a foundation for Johnnie Walker’s master blender, Jim Beveridge, to build upon.
