Bronze Medal Winner at the 2000 International Spirits Challenge. Discontinued in January 2007. These old Cask Strength releases were for a long time the best of the old range of Bowmores, especially during the 1990s. They are much closer in style to the southern Islay malts with massive salty coastal notes and some seriously thick peat on the palate. Great, boisterous whisky.
