Back in 2000, the recently-launched Whisky Magazine held an event in Tokyo called Whisky Live. Now Whisky Live takes place from Toronto to Taipei, from Los Angeles to London and from Spa to Shanghai.
To mark the 10th anniversary Highland Park were invited, as World Whisky of the Year, to bottle a single cask of Highland Park. Selected by the Whisky Magazine team and bottled exclusively for Whisky Live, this commemorative 10-year-old bottling is designed to celebrate the Whisky Live experience.
It is rather unusual for Highland Park to bottle a single cask; this natural colour cracker at 59.3% is limited to 600 bottles and has the tell-tale balance between sweet and peat that is associated with our single malt.
This whisky was sold at Whisky Live in Japan and the UK only.
