Winning bid: £65

This bottle tells an unusual story as the whisky was produced while John MacLellan was distillery manager of Bunnahabhain distillery and was matured and bottled by him. John worked at Bunnahahbain for 21 years after which he left to begin a new career as General Manager of the Kilchoman Farm Distillery.

The maturation was carried out firstly at Bunnahabhain and then from April 2010 at Kilchoman before being bottled at Kilchoman. The whisky is fairly unusual as it represents Bunnahabhain in it's peated form. The whisky has been matured for almost 15 years in an ex-sherry hogshead, cask number 5911, which showcases the fine Bunnahabhain peated spirit perfectly.

Distilled in 1997 and bottled at 51.5%ABV / 70cl
