"This first batch of Highland Park comes complete with a very special label... Back in September we launched That Boutique-y Whisky Company with a masterclass at Maltstock, the fantastic whisky weekend held just south of Nijmegen each year. This label features those who attended the masterclass but moreover voted to decide the final contents of this Highland Park release we now proudly present to you!

As ever, there is more to it than that as our veritable palatium of whisky pals are joined by the ghost of Charlemagne himself! Down in the woods in Overasselt pieces of clothing are still tied to the tree beside the ruins to bring luck and cure disease, a tradition that dates right back to the days of the Frankish Kingdom and the Holy Roman Empire. Charlemagne is getting in on the act by tossing his knickers up into the tree!

Batch 1 is a release of 241 numbered bottles and the back label has a photo key identifying everybody who is featured."
