Welcome to our 29th auction, which runs until Sunday, September 1. As usual we have an alphabet's soup of whiskies, from the old and rare to the brand new and soon to be rare. In no particular order we have an Ardbeg Millennium Cask, a 1976 Single Cask and a very rare 10 year old cask strength bottled for the Japanese market. Staying on Islay, we have a very scarce Bowmore 1980 - one of only 156 - bottled to mark the Queen's visit, a Port Ellen Feis Ile and a 17 year old Laphroaig from the 2004 Islay Festival of Malt and Music, before it was shortened to its more common name of Feis Ile. Macallan chips in with a series of offerings from the 60s and 70s, and is joined by a 1955 cask strength Highland Park and a 1958, as well as a unique Orcadian Fire, one of only 75 bottles.

We have tons of Balvenie Tuns, including four from Batch #1, a raft of Rare Malts, including the 1972 Brora, and our usual gamut of easy-buying, easy-drinking whiskies. There's a lovely wee Cadenhead's Kinclaith aged 24 years old from the 1960s and an avalanche of minatures peppered throughout the auction.

Finally we have an absolutely unique Glenfarclas - bottle no 1 of 1 - which the distillery has donated for a charity hike up Kilimanjaro for Kiltwalk, which supports Scottish Children's Charities. John Docherty, of The Royal Oak in Dufftown, is the man crazy enough to tackle the challenge, but Glenfarclas have given him a mini of the same bottling to slake his thirst at the top!

And don't forget our handy app is available across all platforms, so you won't even need to leave the pub to bid!

We hope you enjoy our 29th auction. Kind regards from Glasgow
