Winning bid: £110
Ichiro’s Malt Double Distilleries is a vatting of Hanyu and Chichibu single malts. Pure Malt matured in Japanese Oak, vatted and bottled at Chichibu distillery. Bottled 2010.
The range is named after Ichiro Akuto, the grandson of the creator of Hanyu distillery. Although the distillery was dismantled in 2004, Ichiro saved the remaining 400 casks. This is the product of one of those. This bottle has been finished in Mizunara Wood casks, more commonly known over here as Japanese Oak
