This whisky was bottled to honour the fact that in 1894 bartender Patrick J. Duffy asked his local wine and spirit distributor, Park & Telford, to consider importing cased goods of Scotch Whisky instead of casks.
This lead to the development of the Scotch Whisky industry as we know it today and this whisky was blended to a recipe of the time, when blends contained a higher proportion of malts.
Bottled in August 2012 at 46%ABV / 75cl.
Limited release of 1,840 bottles.
