A rare old bottling of VAT 69, in a dumpy brandy-style bottle. 70 degrees proof (40%) no statement on volume though likely to be 26 and 2/3 fl ozs.

Creator, William Sanderson, blended 100 casks of Scotch whisky in 1882 for a panel to judge, they selected VAT no. 69 as the finest.

Please note the is a wax rose missing from the front of the bottle.
