A first time appearance for this Karuizawa here at SWA. This release was an exclusive for Whisky Magazine Japan members back in 2012 when this now infamous distillery just wasn't a big deal. The "Bond #1" allows members to sign up for exclusive news and events as well as special bottlings.
The reports on this bottling are that it's less of an "in your face sherry bomb" that we recognise Karuizawas to be, more an encompassing dram, one to savour and reflect on.
