On the 16th of may 1943 617 squadron attacked the Moehne, Eder and Sorpe dams in Germany in especially converted Lancaster bombers each carrying one of Barnes Wallis's bouncing bombs. 617 was formed in march 1943 especially for this successful and historic mission and thereafter was known as the Dambusters. The Inchmurrin Dambusters single malt was released to commemorate the 617 squadrons 60th year.

Please Note the label on the front of the bottle states a 14 year Old, with the back label stating a 16 year old. We are unsure which one is accurate.
