Behind this unique design, six emblematic Nikka bottlings cover the full spectrum of whisky styles, to suit every occasion or palate preferences. This great diversity, combined with the included tasting glasses and service tray, make the Nikka Box akin to a personal home Nikka whisky bar to share with others.

The Nikka Box is a pure and elegant case, inspired by the origami art of paper folding, and the himitsu-bako: a secret message box which was once used by the samurai. It embodies Nikka’s spirit of innovation rooted in tradition.

The lacquered-wood base, which holds the box closed, becomes a service tray once removed. The box then unfolds to reveal six hidden compartments, each displaying a different bottle of Nikka whisky. Two Glencairn Crystal “copita” tasting glasses complete the set, combining all the essential elements for a Japanese whisky service.

The Nikka Box can take on a multitude of different shapes, depending on how its different elements are arranged. Folded out on its entire length, it proudly displays the six bottles. Other combinations result in a rectangular, triangular or double diamond shapes. When completely opened, folded back on itself and topped with the service tray, it can even turn into a dedicated whisky tasting table!

Selected by La Maison du Whisky, the six Nikka pillars span every type and style of whisky, play the role of ambassadors for the Nikka range, but also for Japanese whisky as a whole.
