The brand was created in 1830 by William Teacher. In 1898 they opened Ardmore distillery to provide the malt needed for the blend.
There is a slightly damaged State of Wisconsin tax stamp that dates this bottle from 1940-47.
The back of the front label reads, "1830 Estab 1830 Ardmore Distillery, Kennethmont, Scotland - Bottled at Glasgow - Wm Teacher & Sons"
