Founded in 1797 the Glen Garioch distillery is owned by Morrison Bowmore and they have been expanding the distillery to produce nearly 1.4 million liters of spirit a year.
The first bottling since the re-opening of the distillery in 1997 after a refurbishment. This won the under 12 Mainland (non-Speyside) Single Malt award in the World Whisky Awards 2007.
