This young whisky from Stauning is already gathering attention from intentional sources after being awarded 2 gold medals (International Review of Spirits & Jim Murray's Liquid Gold) in 2013. Located on the West coast of Denmark, they pride themselves on the quality of the whisky being produced.
The grain used is malted by Stauning themselves and for this whisky it has been dried using peat excavated by Klosterlund Museum at Bølling Sø. So a Danish twist on a classic Islay style!
