Masataka Taketsuru is known as grand father of the Japanese whisky industry. He travelled to Scotland to study Organic Chemistry at University of Glasgow during the summers. Later started working in Hazelburn before it was absorbed by Springbank. Coming back to Japan he helped to establish the first Japanese Whisky Distillery.

These bottles were all bottled for the 70th Anniversary of Nikka. two malts, one grain and finally a blend containing all the malts and grain.

Miyagikyo Single Malt, 12 year old, 58%ABV / 70cl

Single Coffey Grain, 12 years old, 58%ABV / 70cl

Master Blender's Blended Whisky, 12 years old, 58%ABV 70cl.
