On August 27th 2009, Tomintoul were recognised by Guinness World Records as producers of the "Largest Bottle of Scotch Whisky in the World". Weighing in at a whopping 105.3 litres, this monster bottling was the brainchild of Dru McPherson of the Clockhouse Restaurant and Mike Drury of the Whisky Castle (both in the village of Tomintoul).
Non chill-filtered and with no added colouring this Speysider has been bottled at 14 years old; and despite being a full sized 70cl bottle it is a miniature version of the record breaking behemoth. Probably much easier to pour a dram from too!
46% ABV / 70cl
Bottle Number 392 / 500
Please examine the images of the bottle, any packaging and labels carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid.
