According to website whiskiesrus, as a general rule any whisky sporting the Hanshin Tigers logo more often than not is/was bottled by Mercian, therefore contains malt from the Karuizawa distillery.
Hanshin Tigers are a NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) team and are known as hard luck Hanshin. Specially bottled for the Tigers in 2003 for winning the central league.
