Karuizawa Spirit Of Asama 48% 2 x 70cl

This is an exclusive to The Whisky Exchange. The whisky is part of a vatting of 77 casks which went through a re-racking process when Number One Drinks Company acquired all of the distillery's remaining stock. TWE release two versions of this whisky, one at 48% and one at 55% ABV. This was to show the different sides of the Karuizawa whisky character.

This lower proof bottling was said to produce a well rounded and affordable example of the distillery's character.

These handsome looking bottles were distilled in 1999 and 2000, the final vintages of Karuizawa, and bottled in 2012.

Aged in a first fill Sherry cask

48% ABV / 70cl
