The Marmite of whisky! Sold in America during Prohibition for medical purposes, due to the Surgeon General refusing to believe it could be drunk for pleasure, Laphroaig was awarded a Royal Warrant by Prince Charles in 1994.

The biggest selling single malt from Islay, Laphroaig is one of the last distilleries using its own floor maltings.
