Lot number: 0622289

Winning bid: £110

These hand filled bottlings are available exclusively to visitors to the distillery.

Valinchs are by definition only ever at cask strength, from a single barrel, and selected by Jim McEwan for individuality. Each Valinch released has its own label and title, usually to commemorate a specific event.

This is a special bottling to commemorate a famous Islay distillery duped into buying some very old bottles which turned out to be nothing of the sort - utter fakes.

Distilled: 30th September 1994

Cask Type: Bourbon

Cask Number: 40

59.4% ABV / 50cl

Bottle Number: 89 of 300 bottles

Please note that the tin has been signed by former distillery manager Jim McEwan.

Please examine the images of the bottle, any packaging and labels carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid.
