This 12 year old from Suntory first came onto the market in 1984 and was the first seriously marketed Japanese single malt whisky.

Hakushu 12 Year Old:

From Suntory's mountain distillery, found deep within the forests of Mount Kaikomagatake Hakushu is owned by Suntory, founders of the first Japanese distillery, Yamazaki. The original Hakushu distillery was built in 1973, with another distillery building called Hakushu Higashi (west) added in 1981.

Hibiki 17 Year Old:

Hibiki is a Japanese blend from the whisky giant Suntory. And it is really something special. The malt and grain comes from Suntory's 3 distilleries and have gained the status as the ultimate Japanese blend. It also received a Gold Editor's Choice award from Whisky Magazine and conquered the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010. The 24 sided bottle represents the 24 Sekki in the Japanese lunar calendar.
