Bruichladdich was established in 1881 and has changed hands many times over the years. Since their renaissance in 2001 their range of whiskies are bottled without added colour or chill filtration and at 46% ABV and above. They are pioneers of cask management, peating levels and presentation.

The first Bruichladdich distillation since the distillery was revived.

Constructed from 7 year-old 10ppm bourbon-matured distillate made by Jim McEwan in 2001 after the new regime came to power.
