Bruichladdich was established in 1881 and has changed hands many times over the years. Owned by French spirit group Remy Martin Bruichladdich distil, mature and bottle their whisky on site as well as using barley from the surrounding farms. Since their renaissance in 2001 their range of whiskies is bottled without added colour or chill filteration and at 46%ABV and above. They are pioneers of cask management, peating levels and presentation.
The first 20 Year Old is a real stunner of a dram as is the second! One of the best Bruichladdichs around. This is the first release of the 20 Year Old Bruichladdich
