The oldest distillery on Islay, Bowmore has been described as the Grande Dame of the island. It still has it's own floor maltings which make up about 30% of their requirements. Their No. 1 vaults are the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland and the only one below sea level.
A unique bottle of Bowmore, not available in any shops - just from the distillery. Each customer is allowed to fill their own bottle using a traditional vallinch.
