Glen Keith has recently been refurbished and expanded with a capacity of 6 million litres a year. Chivas Brothers are intending to use almost all of its spirit for blending. In the past the distillery has been a site of experimentation, they have been innovative in the use of yeast strains as well as peating the water, not just the barely used in production.
The first official bottling from Glen Keith, a 10 year old whisky originally released in the 1990s when the distillery was owned by dearly departed Seagrams.
