Glenfiddich was founded by William Grant who had learned his craft at Mortlach and the first spirit ran from the stills on Christmas Day 1887. Glenfiddich is also credited with creating the world's interest in single malt whisky with the launch of the Straight Malt in 1963. Still family owned they were the first single malt brand to sell 1 million cases in a year.
This lot comes with an Explorer's flask and a pack.
A triangular tin for the triangular bottle, showing key elements that make up Glenfiddich, the coal-fired furnaces that heat the copper stills,the aged oak that gives the 'fiddich its golden colour and the single source of soft, natural spring water.
