An exciting trio of older miniature bottlings from three of Scotland's most famous distilleries, including a much sought after Bowmore Sherriff's mini.

Macallan 10 years old:

The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid, a barley farmer and school teacher. Now owned by the Edrington Group, The Macallan prides itself on its Six Pillars, which include its curiously small stills, very narrow 'cut' of new make spirit and exceptional cask management. It is the most sought after whisky for collectors, regularly setting records at auctions all round the world.

Talisker 8 Year Old:

Talisker was founded by two brothers, Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill in 1830 and until 1928 practiced triple distillation. The distillery was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in November 1960 including commissioning identical stills to those that had been destroyed in the fire. In 1998 it was part of Diageo's Classic Malts original line up and in 2014 it became the 10th best selling single malt in the world.

Bowmore Sherriff's:

The oldest distillery on Islay, Bowmore has been described as the Grande Dame of the island. It still has it's own floor maltings which make up about 30% of their requirements. Their No. 1 vaults are the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland and the only one below sea level.

This Sherriff's bottling from Bowmore has the Sailing Boat label from the early 1960s.
