Glenturret 1965
Lot number: 065-1192
Winning bid: £640
Established in 1775, Glenturret is considered the oldest working distillery in Scotland, although there are some who dispute this. It is also home to some of the most traditional working practices in Scotland.
For example, it has the only mash tun that has to be stirred by hand. It is also the home of the Famous Grouse Experience Visitor Centre which is one of the most modern and highly thought of tourist attractions in the whisky world.
This is a rare and limited bottling from Glenturret, which is the key component of the Famous Grouse blend. Contained within presentation box.
