Scapa was founded in 1885 and the majority of its production goes into blends including Ballantine's. Often described as the 'other Orkney whisky' Scapa is one of the last distilleries using a Lomond still. This one has had the rectifier plates removed to produce a classic pot still style of spirit.
This is a limited edition bottling. 249 bottles were released and represents the number of ships involved in the battle of Jutland in World War I.

The most northerly of Scottish whisky distilleries, Highland Park was founded in 1798 and is one of the most highly regarded single malts in the world, the great Michael Jackson calling it, "The greatest all-rounder in the world of whisky." and Paul Pacult awarded it, "The Best Spirit in the World." in 2005. The unique peat of Orkney gives the whisky a distinctive heathery sweetness.
This bottling celebrates the centenary of the battle of Jutland in 1916.
