Lot number: 065-1800

Winning bid: £15

The name is derived from Charles Crocker, an American railroad executive and one of the principal investors who formed the Central Pacific Railroad. The name 'American Spike' comes from (one of the four) golden spikes driven into the completed railroads. The last golden spike was driven into where The Central Pacific Railroad from the west and the Union Pacific Railroad from the east met. This completion meant that travel from coast to coast was reduced from 6 months to just over one week.

C.J. Crocker is now discontinued and is neither a Bourbon or a whiskey, it is actually a flavored rum.

35% ABV / 70cl
