Writers Tears whiskey is produced by a small Irish family company, who are hoping to bring back the old recipes of Irish Whiskey. Pot Still Whiskey was unique in Ireland as it was produced from a blend of malted and unmalted barley. This practice has died out and now most modern Irish whiskies are blends or single malts.

This special Whiskey is a unique vatting of single pot still and single malt Irish whiskey, triple distilled for extra smoothness, true to the old style. Already receiving rave reviews from Jim Murray, author of The Whisky Bible and gaining fans the world over, this dram is a great tribute to whiskies from 100 years ago.
