Winning bid: £85.00
Lot number: 066-0157

Sold in America during prohibition for medical purposes, due to the Surgeon General refusing to believe it could be drunk for pleasure, Laphroaig has been awarded a Royal Warrant by Prince Charles in 1994. The biggest selling single malt from Islay, Laphroaig is one of the last distilleries using its own floor maltings.

A limited edition that was released during Laphroaig open day at the Feis Ile 2014.

From a slightly pink whisky in 2013 to 2014 when Laphroaig brought us a very yellow dram. Does this mean that in 2015 the whisky will be green?

Bottled: 2014

Cask Type: Double matured in first fill Bourbon casks and Amontillado hogsheads

51.4%ABV / 70cl

Bottle signed by John Campbell
